Terms and conditions
Unless otherwise stated, accommodation prices are per room per night in GBP £. All prices include Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate at the time a payment is made. Please note, for pricing purposes, weekend days are Fridays,Saturdays and Bank Holidays
CREDIT /DEBIT CARD / DEPOSITS
All bookings must be guaranteed with a credit or debit card, card details are only taken to secure bookings and no deposits are taken unless otherwise agreed. Some bookings may require full prepayment at the time of booking or additional payment prior to your arrival. All accounts are to be settled on departure.
CANCELLATION POLICY / NO SHOWS
Please be aware that we have a 7 days cancellation policy from date of arrival, all cancellations must be made in writing. If you do not check-in or fail to cancel your booking within the above time scale this will result in full payment being charged to the debit/credit card taken at the time of booking.
In the unlikely event that we have to change or cancel your reservation we reserve the right to do so. In such circumstances you will be given a full refund but we shall have no further liability to you arising out of such cancellation.
We strongly advise that you have appropriate travel cover in place. We respectfully remind you that any items brought into the Hotel, its car parks or grounds including valuables and audio/visual equipment, are brought in at your own risk. The Hafod Hotel will not be held responsible for the damage or loss of any property owned by guests or anyone connected to the guests event/stay at the Hotel, whether the items were left before, during or following the function/stay.
We reserve the right to invoice our guests for damage or negligent soiling caused to any parts of our premises; accidental or otherwise. Failure to inform staff about damage caused to our property may result in further charges to be incurred due to delayed intervention. Any reckless tampering with equipment including fire alarms and extinguishers will incur a penalty charge.

CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT
You may check in any time after 3:00pm and check out any time before 11am. Early check ins and late check outs may be available upon request,subject to availability and may be chargeable.
DINING AT THE HAFOD
Food is available Monday to Friday between 12.00pm -2.30pm and 5.30pm -8.30pm and Saturday between 12pm - 9pm Sunday between 12pm-8pm (Times may be subject to change during school holidays & low season please contact us directly for more information)
Daily Bar Service 11am - 11pm
Please be aware that we do not automatically reserve a table in our restaurant for guests (unless you are staying on a package which includes dinner). Should you wish to book a table in our restaurant or have a specific time in mind for your evening meal please contact our reservations team. For guests booking upon check in, times and tables are allocated on a first come first served basis.
Some of our rates and package includes an allowance to be used for food items in our restaurant (please note this does not include beverages).
SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Please advise the Hotel of any special dietary requirements that you or any of your guests may have and/or any special arrangements for children at the time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate any requests.
Children of all ages are very welcome at the Hafod Hotel. Children are the responsibility of their parents/carers and must be accompanied by and be under parental guidance at all times. If a child (a person under 16 years of age) arrives at the hotel, they will not be permitted to stay unless accompanied by an adult.
At the Hafod Hotel we allow well behaved pets in our un-refurbished bedrooms. This is subject to availability and prior approval by the hotel, unfortunately, we are unable to provide special consideration for guests who arrive at the hotel with their pet without prior arrangement. Please be aware that, although pets are tolerated in some of our bedrooms, they are not permitted in some of the public areas of the hotel including the restaurant. We also ask that all dogs are kept on a lead at all times within the hotel and its grounds. Please be aware that you must not leave your pet unattended in your bedroom.
SMOKING AND ALCOHOL
Please note that the Hafod Hotel is strictly non-smoking throughout. We ask guests to smoke outdoors away from the buildings and that they use the cigarette bins provided. This policy includes all rooms. In the event you or any member of your party smoke in your room or in the hotel we reserve the right to charge you £100 for specialist cleaning to make the room fit as a non smoking environment.
It is a criminal offence to serve persons under the age of 18 with alcoholic drinks, except that those over 16 may consume beer, cider or wine if served with a full meal. We will challenge those who appear to be under the age of 21 to provide suitable proof of age and will not serve them alcoholic drinks if proof is unavailable. It is also a criminal offence to procure drinks for under aged persons, drinks so procured will be confiscated and the person who procured the drink may be required to leave the premises and reported to the Police.
Corkage - No wines, spirits or beers may be brought into the premises for consumption unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to make a charge if this is found to have taken place.
Guests are requested to conduct themselves appropriately at all times and to comply with Hotel procedures and/or requests with regard to conduct and respect for other guests, the property of the Hotel, its employees and their health and safety. We respectfully ask that guests do not disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the smooth running of the Hotel, or cause offence to other guests or our members of staff. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services or remove you and members of your party from the Hotel if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached. Where this is the case shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.
The Hafod Hotel will not be responsible for theft or damage to any vehicles or contents of vehicles in our car park or parked outside our hotel.Any vehicles parked at the Hotel are done so entirely at the drivers/owners risk.
Please be aware that at certain times throughout the year the Hotel may host weddings, events and parties, which you may feel would be an intrusion on your stay. Please contact the Hotel directly in advance of your stay for further information.
We cannot accept vouchers beyond their expiry date. You must have the voucher with you for redemption. Please notify us upon booking that you have a voucher giving the value and voucher number which will be checked on arrival.
