Reservations and Payment:
1. Flexible rates - For reservations made 14 days or more prior to commencement of stay 20% advance payment is required at the time of booking. Written confirmation will be provided upon receipt of this payment. The balance is then due 14 days prior to commencement of stay unless alternative arrangements have been agreed. When an advance payment has been made by credit card the balance will automatically be debited to the same credit card. Non refundable rates - Full payment at the point of booking, no cancellations or amendments are permitted.
2. For reservations made within 14 days of the commencement of stay, full payment is required at the time of booking.
3.Should we of necessity have to change your reservation in any way we will guarantee to offer alternative accommodation or a full refund.
4.Should you make any amendments or alterations to a reservation, it may be necessary to make an administration charge.
5.In the event of cancellation a full refund will be made on condition that notification in writing is received (and acknowledged by us) 14 days prior to commencement of stay, except in the event of payments been made via American Express when a 3.5% charge will be taken off the amount to be refunded.
6.In the event of cancellation being received within 14 days of commencement of stay no refund will be made. Any exception to this condition will be at the discretion of CW Lamley and Company.
7.Non-arrival for a confirmed reservation will be treated as a cancellation after 24hrs. at the discretion of CW Lamley and Company.
8.No refund will be made for early termination of a reservation except at the discretion of CW Lamley and Company
9.We will require a credit card imprint (or cash, if no credit card is held) upon arrival against telephone charges, damage etc.
10.All extras must be paid for prior to departure otherwise credit cards will automatically be debited for outstanding accounts.
11.We cannot at any time be held responsible for any bank charges.
12.We shall be obliged to increase our tariff should currency rates or government taxes be increased.
13.CW Lamley and Company is unable to accept responsibility for errors and omissions in our brochures, website, photographs and information nor in those provided by third parties.
14.Transfers and meals are not normally included in the cost.
15.We provide 5-day maid service at The Mansions, 6-day maid service at 44 Curzon Street and 10 Curzon Street and daily maid service at Strozzi Palace. (but not on Sundays or Bank Holidays)
16.We regret that we are unable to accept responsibility for any loss of luggage or valuables, nor for injury or illness and it is strongly recommended that full travel insurance is purchased prior to travel.
17. Our company operates in accordance with the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 and the Equality Act 2010 and, as such, we encourage all prospective guests to talk to us about any special accommodation requirements they may have. We will be pleased to discuss our most appropriate accommodation solutions with the aim of making all guests stay as comfortable as possible.
18.The Guest undertakes to keep the Accommodation and all the furniture, fixtures and effects in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the Stay (reasonable wear and tear excepted) and shall pay to the Company the value of any part of the Accommodation, furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects so destroyed or damaged as to be incapable of being restored to its previous condition. Breakages and damage must be reported as soon as possible.
19.Guests using our Broadband Internet access do so subject to a fair use policy and within the bounds of UK law.
20.The Guest must allow the Company to enter the Accommodation to inspect the state of it, given reasonable notice, with the exception of an emergency when immediate access must be granted.
21.The Guest must not use the Accommodation or allow its use for any dangerous, offensive, noisy, illegal or immoral activities or carry out any act that may be a nuisance or annoyance to the owner or the Company or to any neighbours.
22.Smoking is not permitted in any part of the Accommodation and the Guest and any member of his or her party undertakes not to smoke inside the Accommodation. A fee of £200-£300 per room (depending in the size of the apartment) will be charged at the discretion of the management to any guest who violates the smoking policy to deep clean the apartment.
23.The Guest agrees to ensure that the Accommodation is left reasonably clean and tidy. The Guest agrees to pay an additional reasonable charge to cover the expense of additional, unusual cleaning required because the Guest fails to comply with this clause.
Right to Evict
24.CW Lamley & Company and /or its agents reserves the right to ask the Guest and his or her party to leave the property (without compensation being payable to the Guest or any member of his or her party) if this is deemed necessary by the Company and / or its agents where if there is a serious breach by the Guest of the Agreement or their behaviour is such as to endanger the safety of the property or staff. If any complaints are made of anti-social behaviour or unreasonable breakages or damage occurs or smoking restrictions are not observed we shall give the Guest an opportunity to rectify the breach and failure to do so shall entitle the Company or agents to terminate the agreement.
Acceptance of accommodation signifies acceptance of the above terms and conditions.
