1. Damage to motel property: Any damage to our motel property must be reported to our reception immediately. Any costs in relation to reported or unreported damage which may result in extra cleaning, deodorisation, repairs or replacements of any items, or any other actions in which the owner finds necessary to restore our rooms to their original condition, must be borne by the guest. The damage includes but not limited to any resultant loss of income which may have transpired to the owner as a result of such damage.
3.Removal of motel property: No items must be removed by the guest without giving prior notice to the reception. Any reported or unreported missing items must be restored by the guest upon departure. Should the guest fail to return and/or replace the items upon departure, our motel reserves the rights to charge the guests for any costs and/or damage which may have been caused to the owner as a result of the missing items.
(E.g. towels, heat pump and TV’s remote controls, etc...)
4. False Fire Alarm: Guests are responsible for the activation of the fire alarm, and are liable for any charges invoiced by the New Zealand Fire Service and Building Management Company.
5.Bad odor: We reserve the right to charge $200 or more to deodorize the room contaminated by any kinds of bad odor preventing from selling the rooms. Bad odor may be caused by smoking, cooking fish, curry or other spicy foods and etc...
PetsPets are NOT allowed in the rooms of the motel. In the event of someone having a pet in a room, the registered guest will be billed for a specialist cleaning company. We reserve the right to charge $400 and any resulting loss of income to the registered guest.
7.Credit card policies: You must provide your credit card details to Albany Oak Motel always, prior to or upon check-in. Your credit card details may be used for one or more of the following purposes, but not limited to:
Full payment or remaining of your room rates
Cancellation of bookings on short notice
Your guarantee that the rooms will be kept in their original condition upon your departure
Purposes arising from the preceding clauses above
Should you become liable for any of the preceding clauses above, Albany Oak Motel trading as best2stay NZ ltdreserves our right to charge your credit card without giving any prior notice to you.
8. Check in: 2pm Check out: 10 am; Once after checking in, all room rates will be non-refundable.
9. We can accept cancellation any time up to 48 hours prior to arrival. This is defined as being before 2pm (motel’s check-in time) on the day you are due to stay.
