Thebooking of accommodation and services is a contract between the individualmaking the booking and this hotel. Abbots Hamilton agrees to provide theaccommodation and services described by the order description. The guestundertakes to pay for the accommodation booked and services used unless it hasbeen cancelled by them in accordance with the cancellation policy associatedwith the order. Due to the size of the hotel, late cancellations or no showssignificantly affect our business, so if your plans do change for some reasons,Abbots Hamilton asks that you let us know prior to the cancellation deadlinedescribed on the order. Failure to advise will incur a charge.
Allprices are quoted in New Zealand dollars on a per night basis and include Goodsand Services Tax. Driven by customer demand, room rates vary throughout the dayand year as advertised on our secure booking service www.abbotshamilton.co.nz.

Cancellationof Group bookings must be notified no later than 30 days prior to the expecteddate of arrival. All cancellations less than 30 days prior to the expected dateof arrival will be charged for the full period of the accommodation bookedunless we are able to replace the booking.
Children1 year of age and under are free of charge when accompanied by a paying adultand using a porta cot, or sharing the same bed as adults. In circumstanceswhere additional beds or bedding are required or used, the extra person ratewill apply. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guest of 18years or over. It is the parents, guardians or team managements responsibilityto supervise the child or children at all times while staying and we ask thatyou consider and respect other guests and neighbours by keeping noise levels toa minimum.
Porta cots and High Chairs
Portacots and High Chairs are available (charges may apply).
To make a reservation you mustbe 18 years of age or over. In making a reservation Abbots Hamilton requiresthe guests name, address, contact telephone (landline or mobile) numbers, andemail address. To confirm the reservation Abbots Hamilton requires a validcredit card number with expiry date sufficient funds to pay for the order.Abbots Hamilton reserves the right to charge a credit card at the time thebooking is made. Requests for accommodation and services where the customerdoes not have a credit card or the credit card details are confirmed to beinvalid are not guaranteed. It is the hotel’s sole discretion how long theserequests will be honoured. Reservations made and paid for in cash without thesecurity of a valid credit card, may be required to pay a reservation bond.This will be refunded once the room has been checked at the time of departure.
AbbotsHamilton welcomes your arrival from 2.00pm or earlier by prior arrangement.Upon arrival, each guest will be required to sign the registration formconfirming the details are correct and accepting the terms and conditions therein of his/her stay. Reception hours are:• Monday to Friday 7:30am to9:30pm.•Saturday and Sunday, Public Holidays 8.00am to 9.00pm. If you are unable tocheck-in during reception hours, please phone +64 (7) 838 3299 to arrange alate check-in or key collection. Guests who do not contact us may be charged alate check-in fee of $50.00.
Check-outis by 10.00am on the day of departure or later by prior arrangement.
AbbotsHamilton accepts Visa, American Express(3% surcharge applies),MasterCard,Eftpos and cash. When checking in, our standard practise is to charge thecredit card for services pre-booked. If you intend to pay by Eftpos cash, youwill be asked for a bond to be paid on arrival, (refundable on departure).Allaccommodation and any other charges not already paid for must be paid in fullon the day of departure (if not already done so), unless prior arrangementshave been made with Abbots Hamilton. Overdue/recovery charges will apply ifyour account is not paid on time.
Refundswill only be made to the credit card debited for the original transaction.
Allaccounts are payable on departure, unless prior arrangements have been madewith Abbots Hamilton. Abbots Hamilton reserves the right to charge overdue/recoveryfees on all accounts not paid by due date.
Amendments to bookings
Allamendments to bookings must be made by the person who made the originalreservation to the booking agency and be in writing. If the booking was madedirectly with Abbots Hamilton changes may be firstname.lastname@example.org. Abbots Hamilton will acknowledge receipt of theemail and discuss with you the changes requested.
Allcancellations must be made in writing by the person who made the originalreservation. Cancellations may be emailed email@example.com, or tothe booking agency contracted. Please check your order documentation todetermine who you made the booking with. Please check the cancellation policyon the booking documentation to determine your options.
Failto arrive as Abbots Hamilton has a contract with you and holds your booking ingood faith pending your arrival. If you fail to arrive, you will be charged thefull cost of the accommodation booked.
Departureearlier than the reserved date may not result in a refund unless AbbotsHamilton is able to replace the booking. In the event of a late cancellationevery effort will be made to resell the room and you will only be responsiblefor the cost if this is unsuccessful.

Shouldyou experience any difficulties with your stay, immediately contact receptionto register your concern. Every effort will be made to rectify the situation andmake your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
